From our family to yours

It began with our own little ones.

Kanha V Thread began with a simple wish: to find beautiful clothes that our children would love wearing.

As parents, we knew the disappointment of choosing a lovely outfit, only to hear, “It’s poking me,” or “It’s itchy.” Sometimes, a special occasion ended in tears, irritated skin and a dress our little one couldn’t wait to take off. After trying many brands in Malaysia, we kept coming back to the same question: why was it so difficult to find elegance, quality and comfort together?

We wanted more for our children—thoughtful fabrics, beautiful finishing and distinctive designer pieces that felt as lovely as they looked.

A search that took us further.

That wish took us on several journeys to India, visiting weaving and garment mills and looking closely at the fabrics and details behind each outfit. We handpicked clothing for our own children, paying attention to the feel of the material, the workmanship and the freedom to move, play and simply be children.

When we shared what we had found with friends and family, we realised how many parents in our circle had faced the same struggles. Soon, we were making more trips and choosing pieces for their little ones too.

What began as a personal search gradually became Kanha V Thread.
